Supervise audiovisual equipment installation in banquet and meeting rooms. Ensure all audiovisual equipment functions properly; repair or clean equipment as needed. Label malfunctioning equipment and report issues to the manager or supervisor. Tape down and cover all loose cables and wires. Verify delivered equipment and room setup against the banquet order for the event. Report any additions or deletions to the layout diagram to the manager or supervisor. Assist and train guests and clients on appropriate use and handling of audiovisual equipment; sell enhanced and alternative audiovisual services; and regularly monitor equipment usage. Dismantle, remove, and secure equipment when not in use. Read, understand, and follow procedures outlined in the Marriott Visual Productions (MVP) Standard Operating Procedures manual. Comply with all company safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions to management. Adhere to all company policies and procedures; ensure uniform and personal appearance are neat and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; and protect company assets. Greet and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and fulfill their service needs; and thank guests with genuine appreciation.
