About the Role We are seeking a Platform \& Cloud Engineer to operate and evolve a hybrid platform including compute, virtualization, storage, networking, and foundational services, manage Azure IaaS (VMs, VNets, NSGs, LB), and oversee operational governance. The role focuses on troubleshooting critical components such as AKS, App Services, Azure SQL, ARC, APIM, Azure Local; planning upgrades/patching/capacity; producing runbooks; and collaborating on observability and automation. Requirements Key Responsibilities * Operation and evolution of the hybrid platform (compute, virtualization, storage, networking, services). * Administration of Azure IaaS (VMs, VNets, NSGs, LB, diagnostics, policy, tagging). * Troubleshooting of AKS, App Services, Azure SQL/SQL Server, IIS, Storage, ARC, APIM, Azure Local. * Management of Azure DevOps (repos, pipelines, boards). * On-premises virtualization (VMware vSphere/ESXi, vCenter, vSAN/VxRail upgrades, capacity). * Planning/execution of upgrades, patching, capacity management, lifecycle with acceptance criteria. * Production/maintenance of runbooks and operational documentation (troubleshooting, rollback). * Collaboration with observability/automation teams for actionable alerting and reduction of manual effort. Deliverables * Technical platform roadmap (lifecycle, versions, risks, capacity). * Runbooks and KB for on-prem \+ Azure operations. * Execution of structural changes with evidence (plan, validation, rollback, lessons learned). * Technical standards (baselines, naming/tagging, operational policies). Requirements * Required Professional Experience * 7\+ years in enterprise infrastructure/platform roles with hands-on operational responsibility. * 3\+ years in production Azure IaaS (administration/troubleshooting). * Proven experience in critical operations, upgrades/migrations with minimal downtime. Preferred Experience * Experience with AKS, App Services, APIM, Azure Arc/Local. * VMware (vCenter/ESXi/vSAN/VxRail). * Azure certifications (AZ\-104 or higher), VMware VCP, ITIL. * Experience in 24/7 environments (media/broadcast/events). Technical Skills * Infrastructure/Cloud operations, networking fundamentals, security basics (RBAC, least privilege), troubleshooting. * Practical knowledge of Windows Server/IIS and SQL Server operations. * Familiarity with automation/IaC (Ansible, Terraform) and CI/CD (Azure DevOps) is valued. Soft Skills * Autonomy, ownership, quality focus. * Clear communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. * Strong documentation discipline and ability to collaborate effectively in a team (T-shaped model).
