Collaborate on database schema design and optimization with development teams **Description:** ---------------- Noesis is looking for professionals with the following profile: **Main Tasks and Responsibilities:** * Manage and support database environments, ensuring availability, performance and reliability of database systems; * Design, implement and maintain backup, recovery and high availability/disaster recovery solutions (DR/HA); * Monitor database performance and capacity, planning resource usage for storage, CPU and memory; * Collaborate with development and architecture teams in the design and optimization of database schemas and structures; * Perform query analysis and troubleshooting to identify performance issues and propose improvements; * Manage database deployments and schema changes aligned with application releases and CI/CD pipelines; * Contribute to the improvement of monitoring processes, automation and operational best practices. **Profile:** * Degree in Computer Science or similar; * Minimum of 6 years of experience working with database administration or database engineering; * Experience with open\-source database engines such as PostgreSQL (on\-premises or cloud); * Knowledge of enterprise databases such as SQL Server or Oracle will be valued; * Solid understanding of backup and recovery strategies, high availability and disaster recovery solutions; * Experience with database performance monitoring, query analysis and troubleshooting; * Analytical skills, problem\-solving ability.
