Description

Voices Off... Nothing Author: Nuno Tonelo Publisher: Publicações Europa-América Literary Genre: Novel Book Condition: Very good condition; pages slightly yellowed; ownership signature inside Synopsis Nuno Tonelo Sá da Silva was born in Barreiro on October 17, 1965. He attended school as long as he felt like it. He completed two years of compulsory military service in the Navy, where he received his first major distinction: one month in prison for insubordination and disobedience. Aside from that period, he has always done exactly what he felt like, never having accomplished anything truly significant. Voices Off... Nothing is a story set in the nocturnal places many people dream about every day during daylight hours—addressing night as "you" and burning sleep away in liters of Jack Daniels and unrestrained love affairs. It is also a story of inescapable verisimilitude—the mirror of hedonism for a generation with no pretensions of social intervention, yet still capable of being moved by just causes.
