




### **Job Description and Responsibilities** * Install, calibrate and configure sensors, transmitters, control valves, pressure, temperature, flow meters and other devices used to monitor and control processes; * Check the condition of instruments to prevent failures and repair them when necessary; * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on instruments and associated mechanical systems, ensuring their proper operation; * Diagnose faults and make necessary adjustments on mechanical components, collaborating with instrumentation technicians or electricians when required; * Assemble supports, shafts or mechanisms affecting instrument accuracy, if necessary; * Work with cutting tools, welding equipment and other machinery for preparation and adjustment of metal parts and components; * Prefabricate and install cable tray; * Ensure instruments provide accurate readings by adjusting them to meet required standards; * Locate system control faults and carry out repairs; * Read and interpret technical diagrams and manuals to understand how instrumentation systems are interconnected; * Conduct tests to ensure control systems operate correctly and comply with safety requirements; * Assist in facility start\-up operations. ### **Candidate Profile** * Professional training in Industrial Instrumentation, Automation, Electronics or Mechatronics; * Organizational and planning skills; * Ability to execute tasks and meet deadlines; * Analytical and problem\-solving skills; * Communication and interpersonal skills; * Mobility/Availability/Flexibility; * Ability to adapt to new cultures.
