We are looking to strengthen our team with a Maintenance Technician for a hotel in Mafra. We are seeking a responsible professional capable of performing routine repairs, general maintenance, and conservation tasks, ensuring that the hotel's facilities, equipment, and outdoor areas are well maintained and fully operational. This role contributes to a comfortable and safe environment for both guests and staff through fast and efficient maintenance services. Responsibilities: * General Maintenance * Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify and resolve issues such as plumbing leaks, electrical faults, and structural repairs. * Perform minor repairs, including carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work. * Ensure all tools, equipment, and systems are in good working condition. * Preventive Maintenance * Assist in scheduled maintenance activities, including HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) systems, boilers, and lighting. * Monitor and maintain fire safety systems, emergency exits, and alarms. * Address natural wear and tear of facilities to minimize long-term damage. * Facility Conservation * Repair and maintain furniture, fixtures, and equipment as needed. * Ensure public areas, including corridors and gardens, are safe and presentable. * Assist with gardening tasks such as watering plants and trimming lawns or bushes. * Emergency Repairs * Respond promptly to urgent repair requests or incidents, minimizing disruptions. * Collaborate with housekeeping and reception teams to resolve issues in guest rooms or public areas. Requirements: * Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or in a similar position. * Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical systems. * Problem-solving skills: Ability to efficiently diagnose and repair malfunctions. * Ability to lift heavy objects, climb stairs, and work in confined spaces. * Teamwork skills with a positive and proactive attitude. * Basic language skills desirable, especially English and Portuguese. * Own vehicle. * Availability to work weekends, holidays, and respond to emergencies when required. * Hotel experience is valued.
