





**Forvia, a sustainable mobility technology leader** ---------------------------------------------------- We pioneer technology for mobility experience that matter to people. **Your mission, roles and responsibilities** -------------------------------------------- The Plastic Profile Extrusion Process Engineer will be responsible for standardizing and optimizing the production processes in the plastic profile extrusion area, aiming to improve productivity, efficiency and quality through the application of continuous improvement tools. Will participate in multidisciplinary teams for the introduction of new projects, ensuring compliance with project management system requirements. **Responsibilities and Activities** * Programming of extrusion machines and auxiliary equipment. * Analysis of capacity of extrusion lines and auxiliary equipment (e.g.: extruder, chillers, cutters). * Management of material loads and consumption in the SAP system. * Preparation of quotations and costs for new components (e.g.: Plastic Profiles). * Creation and updating of routings and bills of materials (BOM). * Analysis of material consumption (resins, pigments, accessories). * Monitoring and support during production inventories in coordination with planning. Health, Safety and Environment (HSE): * Comply with and promote environmental, health and safety policies. * Proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Quality: * Comply with Quality Management System procedures. * Participate in continuous improvement actions and problem solving (e.g.: 8D, PDCA). Ethics and Compliance: * Respect the company's code of ethics and values. **Your profile and competencies to succeed** -------------------------------------------- * Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Materials Engineering or related fields. * Minimum of 2 years in similar roles, preferably in a plastic profile extrusion industrial environment. * Knowledge of operation and maintenance of extrusion machines, chillers, cutters and measurement equipment. * Knowledge of different types of polymers and their properties (e.g.: PVC, PE, PP, ABS, among others). * Ability to analyze processes and solve problems (e.g.: 5W2H, Ishikawa, 8D). * Knowledge of technical drawing interpretation. * Familiarity with SAP or other industrial ERP systems. * Intermediate English (spoken and written); additional languages are valued. * Customer and results orientation. * Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams. * Proactivity, autonomy and sense of responsibility. * Learning agility and openness to innovation. **What we can do for you** -------------------------- * At Forvia, you will find an engaging and dynamic environment where you can contribute to the development of sustainable mobility leading technologies. * We are the seventh\-largest global automotive supplier, employing more than 157,000 people in more than 40 countries which makes a lot of opportunity for career development. * We welcome energetic and agile people who can thrive in a fast\-changing environment.
