WHAT WE SEEK Addvolt seeks a highly dynamic Electromechanical Technician with a strong work ethic to join our production team in Porto. We are looking for someone passionate about both electronics and mechanical assembly, capable of ensuring high-quality assembly of our innovative electronic equipment. The candidate must demonstrate flexibility, commitment to the company’s needs, and a proactive attitude toward continuous improvement. RESPONSIBILITIES As an Electromechanical Technician, you will: * Follow technical plans, schematics, and manuals to ensure correct assembly. * Assemble innovative electromechanical equipment, ensuring high-quality standards. * Proficiently handle electrical and manual tools. * Conduct inspections of products, components, and raw materials. * Repair or replace defective components, wiring, and mechanical parts as required. * Collaborate with the team to identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement. * Ensure all work complies with industry standards and safety regulations. * Provide technical support and training to other operators. * Commit to achieving objectives. VALUES AND CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS * Share the company’s values – Respect, Integrity, Inclusion, Innovation, Excellence; * A secondary school diploma or equivalent is mandatory; holding a CET diploma and/or equivalent (Level 5 – CNQ – DGERT) in a related field is an advantage. * Prior work experience in the industrial or automotive sector; * Relevant technical skills and knowledge in electronics and mechanical assembly; * Relevant technical skills and knowledge in electronics and mechanical assembly; * Commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and integrity; * Willingness to work under various conditions, including elevated locations, confined spaces, and near high-voltage equipment; * Must be capable of lifting 35 kilograms and performing physically demanding tasks. * Ability to stand, kneel, crouch, and maneuver as required. * Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Strong written and oral communication skills. * Proven intermediate-level English proficiency.
