
8EasyPIC 6 Development System, TMIK003, Microchip The MikroElektronika EasyPIC 6 is an outstanding development tool for programming and experimenting with PIC® microcontrollers. It supports over 160 different MCUs from the PIC10, PIC12, PIC16, and PIC18 families, with DIP packaging ranging from 8 to 40 pins. The board comes with a pre-installed PIC16F887. An impressive variety of peripherals and expansion connectors are built directly onto the board, including LCD/GLCD displays and a temperature sensor. - RS-232 communication with a PC or microcontroller is performed via a DB9 connector. - The system supports MCUs with DIP8, DIP14, DIP18, DIP20, DIP28, and DIP40 pinouts. - A 2x16-character COG display is used to show text messages. It connects to the system via SPI. - 36 buttons are used to stimulate the microcontroller's digital inputs. The power switch turns the system on/off. - A DIP switch is used to isolate port pins from pull-up / pull-down resistors. - The port expander allows you to add more inputs or outputs to your prototype device. - A 4x4 keypad enables efficient numeric data entry as well as other characters. - The reset circuit is used to reset the microcontroller. It connects to the microcontroller's MCLR pin. - The LCD contrast potentiometer is used to adjust the LCD contrast. - Programming in mikroC, mikroBasic, or mikroPascal.
