We are seeking a **Data Engineer** to join our Data & AI team. At our company, you will have the opportunity to combine your technological interests and expertise to help us deliver our solutions to the world’s most advanced and demanding markets! **What will your day-to-day look like at Glintt Next?** * Actively participate in data architecture decisions, contributing to the selection of technologies and standards tailored to each use case. * Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end data pipelines, supporting mission-critical business solutions. * Integrate data from relational databases, REST APIs, files, external systems, and real-time events. * Implement ETL/ELT processes in Data Lake, Data Warehouse, and/or Lakehouse environments, across multi-cloud and on-premises infrastructures. * Develop, maintain, and evolve batch data pipelines using Databricks/Spark or equivalent distributed frameworks. * Implement real-time or near real-time data pipelines using technologies such as Apache Kafka or Apache Flink. * Orchestrate data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Airflow, Prefect, Dagster, or equivalent tools, ensuring reliability and automation. * Collaborate closely with BI and Data Science/ML teams, supporting data consumption via dashboards, ad-hoc exploration, and Machine Learning models. * Prepare data for GenAI/RAG use cases, including collection, cleaning, chunking, embedding generation, and loading into vector databases. * Work with feature stores and/or design reusable features for model consumption. **What do we think you need?** * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields. * Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Data Engineer, with end-to-end responsibility. * Strong SQL and Python skills, with hands-on experience developing data pipelines. * Experience with ETL/ELT tools—both visual (e.g., Azure Data Factory) and custom approaches (e.g., Python/Databricks). * Experience with or exposure to real-time data architectures (e.g., Kafka, Event Hubs, Flink, or Spark Streaming). * Experience in cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud), ideally with Data Lake / Data Warehouse / Lakehouse architectures. * Understanding of end-to-end data architecture—from source integration through to delivery for dashboards, queries, and ML models. * Solid knowledge of Data Warehousing and Data Lakehouse methodologies and architectures. * Focus on delivering high-quality solutions aligned with business stakeholders’ needs. * Knowledge of DevOps practices (e.g., GitHub/GitHub Actions or similar) and Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g., Terraform or similar) is a plus. **What will you find at Glintt Next?** * An outstanding work environment; * Investment in your professional development; * Respect for your individuality; * Autonomy and recognition for your achievements; * Thoughtfully designed facilities to make you feel at home; * The possibility of working in a hybrid model. **What’s our plan for you?** * Participation in challenging technology projects in Portugal and other European countries; * Investment in certifications; * Mentoring; * A career path tailored to your capabilities; * Individualized training plan covering both soft and hard skills. **If you’re still not convinced, we also offer:** * Equipment required to perform your role; * Workshops and initiatives promoting a healthy lifestyle; * Variable compensation; * Health insurance; And much more… Are you excited?
