We are part of one of the largest multinational groups in the sector and are undergoing a transformation process that will enable us to grow and expand the boundaries of the markets we operate in. **The Challenge** As part of the IT department, this professional will ensure the performance, reliability, and consistency of SQL Server databases within an ecosystem integrating platforms such as OutSystems, Salesforce, and Python-based integrations. This role will be critical to application stability, working closely with development teams. **Key Responsibilities:** * Ensure SQL Server database performance, availability, and reliability; * Analyze and optimize queries, including those generated by OutSystems and Salesforce; * Identify and resolve performance issues such as locks, deadlocks, and bottlenecks; * Implement and maintain backup and recovery strategies; * Manage high-availability and disaster-recovery solutions, such as Always On or Log Shipping; * Ensure data consistency across different systems, including ERP, CRM, and integrations; * Collaborate with development teams to improve data models and access patterns; * Automate operational tasks using scripts, jobs, and monitoring tools. **We Are Looking For Professionals With:** * Minimum 5 years of experience with SQL Server; * Strong proficiency in T\-SQL and performance optimization; * Experience troubleshooting production environments; * Experience with HA/DR strategies and backup management; * Experience in application environments, preferably with OutSystems or similar platforms; * Knowledge of data integration, including APIs, ETL, and synchronization; * Experience in scripting, particularly PowerShell or Python; * Ability to work closely with development teams; * Azure SQL or cloud environment experience is a plus; * Experience in mission-critical and highly demanding environments is a plus.
