Website Platform Manager (m/f/d)
**Purpose of the Role:**
We are seeking a technical, strategic, and process\-driven **Website Platform Manager (m/f/d)** to join our Digital Experience team in Portugal (Porto). Operating at the intersection of digital strategy, web architecture, and website operations, this role serves as the **primary technical owner and platform gatekeeper for our global B2B web ecosystem.**
In this position, you will ensure our web platform delivers peak performance, enterprise\-grade security, seamless technical integrations, and maximum uptime across complex international B2B user journeys. Working alongside the Content Team Lead \& Website Product Owner, the Digital Experience team, the IT team, the Legal team and external agency partners, you will lead technical governance, CMS evolution, Core Web Vitals optimization, and MarTech infrastructure execution.
**Your role:**
* **External Development Management:**
+ Coordinate third\-party development agency to ensure technical requirements and high\-quality testing and QA.
+ Define detailed technical specifications, architecture blueprints, and acceptance criteria for all web initiatives.
* **Technical Infrastructure \& Platform Governance**
+ Oversee global web hosting architecture, network configurations, domain portfolios, DNS settings, and SSL/TLS certificate renewals.
+ Manage deployment pipelines, release cycles, environment access (Dev, Staging, Production), and maintain accurate technical documentation.
+ Lead technical issue identification, bug fixing workflows, and emergency troubleshooting to safeguard site reliability and operational continuity.
* **CMS Evolution, Integrations \& IT Stakeholder Alignment**
+ Support with continuous CMS maintenance, module updates, and architectural evolution to support enterprise content needs.
+ Oversee third\-party tools, API connections, microservices, and web ecosystem extensions.
+ Serve as the main bridge to internal enterprise IT, Cybersecurity, and Infrastructure teams to enforce corporate standards.
* **Core Web Vitals \& Technical SEO Governance**
+ Continuously monitor Core Web Vitals (LCP, INP, CLS), page load speeds, and server response metrics.
+ Support the Website team with technical SEO best practices, including crawlability, indexing budget, structured data schemas, canonical tags, and clean URL redirects.
* **Security, Compliance \& MarTech Support**
+ Support routine security audits, vulnerability remediations, and legal compliance frameworks.
+ Collaborate with tracking and analytics to provide hands\-on technical web support for data layer implementations, script management, and server\-side tagging.
**What this role IS:** Technical platform ownership, third\-party agency coordination, release coordination, infrastructure/DNS/SSL administration, technical SEO governance, and system integrations.
**What this role IS NOT:** This is not a web development or programming position. While technical literacy is essential for QA and architectural alignment, hands\-on coding and feature development are executed by our external partner agencies.
**Your profile:**
* You have at least 5 years of experience in technical website management, web development project management, or platform operations in an enterprise/B2B context.
* You bring a deep understanding of headless CMS platforms, web hosting environments, DNS/SSL management, REST APIs, HTML/CSS/JS, and CDN architectures.
* Proven track record with technical SEO tools, web performance profiling, and CMP setups.
* Exceptional capability in coordinating external technical agencies while aligning with internal cross\-functional IT and security teams.
* You have a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience in web platform management and infrastructure).
* Excellent written and spoken English; German, Portuguese, Spanish, or Chinese language skills are a plus.
