About the Role We are looking for a Data Cloud Platform Architect with over 10 years of experience in AWS data services and exposure to Azure data services. This Senior Architect will play a pivotal role in designing scalable and efficient data solutions, leading data migration initiatives, and defining data engineering, governance, and security standards. Proficiency in Python, SQL, Terraform, and orchestration tools (Apache Airflow/AWS Step Functions) is required. Mandatory Requirements: * Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience. * Years of Experience: Over 10 years of experience in AWS data services, with exposure to Azure data services. * IaC: Experience developing Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform) templates for platform deployment. * Projects: Proven experience leading large-scale data migration and optimization projects. * Programming: Strong programming skills in Python and SQL, with experience in prototyping and defining coding standards. * Data Management: Experience with Iceberg tables and efficient management of large-scale data volumes. * AWS Architecture: Proficiency in designing scalable and efficient data solutions on AWS, adhering to cloud architecture best practices. * Orchestration: Experience with orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow and AWS Step Functions. * ETL and Big Data: Knowledge of ETL tools and hands-on experience handling large data volumes, preferably with Kafka. * Governance: Demonstrated ability to define and implement data governance and security standards. * Technical Standards: Responsible for defining data engineering standards through production-grade PoCs and prototypes. * CI/CD: Responsible for establishing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines for data workloads. * Languages: Fluency in Portuguese and English (C1 level or higher). * Work Location: Porto (Hybrid).
