Opportunities for professional development and career progression 4\.Operations, a recruitment agency specializing in the transport sector, is currently recruiting a Planning and Operations Technician (M/F) for prestigious clients operating in Braga. Main Responsibilities: Plan, coordinate, and ensure the daily execution of operations, guaranteeing management of both regular and occasional services; Manage and optimize driver allocation, promoting efficient use of available resources; Plan and adjust, in the short and medium term, vehicle and driver distribution according to operational needs; Coordinate with Commercial and Maintenance departments, ensuring accurate updating of operational information; Monitor and ensure the reliability of data recorded in Production Management systems; Analyze operational KPIs, identifying improvement opportunities and proposing solutions to balance operational needs with available human resources; Participate in implementing continuous improvements in planning and operations processes. Required Profile: Higher education degree in Engineering, Management, Territorial Planning or related fields; Minimum 2 years’ experience in operational planning roles; Experience in road transport or logistics sectors (preferred); Strong analytical skills and problem-solving orientation; Excellent organizational, planning, and priority management abilities; Leadership and team management skills; Ability to work under pressure and in dynamic environments; Good knowledge of management and planning software tools.
