Food preparation and cleaning Job Description Responsible for preparing mise\-en\-place as well as cleaning utensils, equipment, and work areas. Main Responsibilities * Prepare mise\-en\-place; * Clean work utensils and equipment; * Work under the guidance of the Head Chef and/or Cook, assisting them in carrying out their tasks; * Clean and cut vegetables, meat, fish or other foods, and prepare side dishes for meals; * Carry out and collaborate on organizing and cleaning duties within their section, and assist with cafeteria services; * Perform general kitchen cleaning in accordance with HACCP standards.
