Job Summary: Responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the Import and Export Customs Operational Process, performing cargo handling and document control tasks to ensure operational fluidity. Key Highlights: 1. Ensure the Import and Export Customs Operational Process 2. Perform reading, loading, and handling of shipments 3. Guarantee the smoothness and efficiency of the physical import and export process The Gateway Customs Ops Support role primarily ensures the proper functioning of the Customs Operational Process related to the import and export of non-EU shipments. Performs tasks related to reading and loading shipments in accordance with internal procedures, cargo verification and handling. Scans documentation and ensures that the process proceeds without irregularities. Conducts warehouse control and provides necessary support for the physical import and export process to ensure its smoothness and efficiency. Initial on-the-job training is provided to ensure the new team member’s success and our customers’ satisfaction. Requirements: * Completed secondary education (12th grade) (preferred) * Prior experience in operational support (manual cargo handling) — preferred * Familiarity with international import and export procedures — preferred * Valid driver’s license (for easy access to the airport) * Language skills: English (preferred) * Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to adapt quickly to new IT systems * Strong time management / flexibility and availability / team-oriented mindset * Commitment to Excellence (professional pride, responsibility, and dedication to doing things well) - Work Location: Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport — DHL Air Cargo Complex — 4470-995 Maia
