Our teams are organized into 5 expertise areas: ➡ Quantitative Finance ➡ Risk, Compliance, and Regulatory ➡ Operations and Finance ➡ Transformation and Organization ➡ Information Systems In 2025, Quanteam generated a revenue of €120 million. **We are looking for a Junior Oracle DBA** **Context** We are looking for a Junior Oracle DBA to join a team in Porto, supporting the maintenance, optimization and evolution of database environments within a critical banking context. **Main Mission** Ensure the stability, performance and security of Oracle databases, contributing to their continuous improvement through automation, optimization and proactive maintenance. **Main Responsibilities** * Maintain databases in operational condition (production and non\-production environments) * Analyze incidents and requests, implementing corrective actions * Manage and treat change requests * Optimize DBMS engines and SQL code * Develop scripts and automation solutions to improve operations * Perform preventive maintenance and monitoring activities * Support developers, application teams and infrastructure teams * Contribute to database design and implementation in business projects (volumetry, HA, etc.) * Maintain operational documentation (processes, workflows, procedures) * Participate in business continuity and availability exercises **Profile \& Skills** * Up to 3 years of experience as a DBA (Junior level) * Strong analytical and problem\-solving mindset * Interest in automation, performance and reliability (DevOps mindset) * Team player with good communication skills * Ability to manage multiple requests and priorities * English **Technical Skills** * Oracle 11g / 12c / 19c * Oracle RAC \& Single Instance * Oracle Recovery Manager (RMAN) * Oracle Data Guard * Debugging and troubleshooting **Nice to have:** * Experience with MS\-SQL, MySQL, Sybase or Hadoop * Experience with ticketing systems **Hybrid work model**, with presence required in **Porto office.** **If you feel this opportunity is right for you, send us your CV and join our team!** Localização do trabalho: Trabalho remoto híbrido em Porto
