Job Summary: We are seeking an Accounting Technician to manage accounting entries, invoices, VAT, and support year-end closing and audits, with a focus on process improvement. Key Highlights: 1. Collaboration in improving financial and accounting processes We are looking for an Accounting Technician for our office located in Maia. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Job Description: \- Perform accounting entries in accordance with the chart of accounts and applicable accounting standards (SNC); \- Record supplier invoices, ensuring correct accounting classification and documentary validation; \- Issue customer invoices; \- Support monthly and annual closing of accounts, ensuring balance consistency and bank reconciliations; \- Record depreciation of fixed assets and accruals and deferrals; \- Calculate VAT and other taxes (e.g., withholding taxes, contributions) and prepare respective tax returns; \- Support audits by providing required documentation and clarifications; \- Collaborate in improving processes and automating tasks within finance and accounting.
