Provide technical leadership and mentoring to engineering teams **Company:** Körber Porto, Unipessoal Lda. **Location:**Porto, PT **Job ID:** 9895 AI Architect Senior **Role Purpose** The Senior AI Architect is responsible for defining the end\-to\-end architecture for AI solutions, ensuring they are scalable, secure, maintainable, and aligned with enterprise technology standards. The role provides technical leadership across all AI initiatives and establishes the architectural foundations required to support long\-term growth and innovation. **Key Responsibilities** **Architecture Strategy** * Define and maintain the enterprise AI architecture strategy and target\-state architecture. * Establish architectural principles, standards, and governance processes for AI solutions. * Ensure alignment between AI initiatives and enterprise technology strategy. **Solution Design** * Design scalable, secure, and maintainable AI solution architectures. * Select appropriate tools, frameworks, platforms, and cloud services. * Define integration patterns with enterprise applications, data platforms, and operational systems. * Review and approve technical designs across AI initiatives. **Technical Leadership** * Provide technical leadership and mentoring to engineering teams. * Guide technical decision\-making and best practices. * Evaluate emerging AI technologies and recommend adoption where appropriate. * Ensure architectural consistency across multiple AI projects. **Risk \& Governance** * Ensure compliance with security, privacy, regulatory, and governance requirements. * Support model governance, resilience, and operational readiness. * Identify and mitigate architectural and technology risks. **Required Experience** * 10\+ years of architecture, software engineering, data, or technology leadership experience. * Minimum 5 years designing enterprise\-scale cloud, data, analytics, or AI solutions. * Demonstrated experience delivering AI, machine learning, or generative AI platforms and solutions. * Strong understanding of enterprise integration, APIs, microservices, cloud platforms, and security architectures. * Experience engaging senior business and technology stakeholders. **Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Data Science, or related discipline. * Master’s degree desirable. * TOGAF, Azure Solutions Architect, AWS Solutions Architect, Google Professional Cloud Architect, or equivalent certification highly desirable. * AI, Machine Learning, or Data Architecture certifications advantageous. **Key Competencies** * Enterprise architecture * AI and cloud technologies * Strategic technology planning * Technical leadership * Solution design * Risk management * Stakeholder engagement * Innovation and continuous improvement Recruitment Team For questions please contact us via Koerbercampusporto.recruitment@koerber.com We value diversity and therefore welcome all applicants \- regardless of gender, nationality, ethnic or social origin, religion/belief, disability, age, sexual orientation and identity, and any other protected status.
