Job Summary: As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for proactive and personalized customer service, selling solutions, in-depth knowledge of products and services, and stock management. Integration into a multinational company with a focus on personal growth #### **Store: Leiria** #### **Your day-to-day responsibilities** * Deliver proactive, personalized, and mobile customer service, establishing the foundation for building a relationship of trust that ensures customer loyalty; * Take responsibility for solution-based sales to customers, accurately anticipating and identifying customer needs, and supporting them in selecting the best solution (product + complementary items + service) to meet their requirements; * Possess in-depth knowledge of the product range offered in your department and its complementary items, conveying confidence and professionalism to customers; * Know, propose, and sell the various services offered by LEROY MERLIN in your store—and their benefits—including delivery, installation, Home Card, maintenance, financing, energy certification, roof rails, tool rental, and van rental, among others; * Participate in the preparation and implementation of OPCOMs, new collections, POGs, podiums, and top displays, contributing to the creation of attractive retail spaces in close coordination with the Store Logistics team; * Contribute to maintaining high stock quality in your department by implementing necessary action plans to address AVS items, non-moving stock, overstock, and visual stock-outs, ensuring effective communication with the Store Logistics team; * Follow up on quotations, ensuring contact with the customer. #### **What we offer** * Integration into a multinational company offering competitive remuneration aligned with your experience and qualifications, with an annual gross potential between €20,541 and €27,062 *(including base salary, Christmas and holiday allowances, meal allowance, and maximum performance bonus tier);* * Opportunity to become a shareholder employee; * Benefits and partnerships with over 200 brands; * Initial training for integration into the company and role; * Well-being policies, including up to 30 days of annual leave; * Employee referral program, with incentives for each recommended candidate who joins the team; * Flexible working policy; * Food benefits, including soup, fresh fruit, bread, butter, cereals, milk, and yogurts; * 10% discount at Leroy Merlin stores; * Health and life insurance; * One day of corporate volunteering. #### **Who we are looking for** * Educational qualification equivalent to completion of secondary school (12th grade) or a Professional Technical Course; * 1–2 years of experience as a sales associate; * Good user-level computer skills; * Strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities; * Excellent communication skills, strong business and results orientation; * Initiative, critical thinking, and entrepreneurial spirit; * Passion for customers and their needs; * Interest in technical products and their application; #### **About us** Leroy Merlin is a market-leading company in DIY, construction, home decoration, and gardening, with a strong presence in Portugal.
