Team Leader with experience in logistics (M/F) - Beja

Job Summary: Responsible for overseeing the operational development of teams, ensuring plan compliance and resource optimization in urban waste collection and cleaning. Key Highlights: 1. Leadership and team management in urban operations. 2. Focus on resource optimization and plan compliance. 3. Responsible for ensuring quality and safety at work. Responsibilities: • Monitor the operational performance of their teams, intervening to resolve issues in accordance with established procedures, activity planning, and higher-level instructions, thereby promoting adherence to defined plans and contributing to the optimization of resources deployed in operations; • Communicate task assignments to team members, monitor the execution of urban waste collection and cleaning services through continuous supervision, and verify compliance with the daily work plan set by the Service Centre Manager, thus ensuring service level targets are met and scheduled activities are carried out; • Ensure compliance with all administrative procedures, including completion of incident reports, verification and validation of daily logs, and other pre-established documentation; • Distribute and issue equipment, uniforms, and accessories to team members, ensuring their proper maintenance, inspecting their condition, and arranging replacements when necessary; • Report operational progress to the Supervisor, communicate abnormal situations, and receive guidance regarding upcoming service planning and any required adjustments, thereby aligning work execution with received instructions and enabling appropriate communication and action in exceptional circumstances; • Inform all team members of their rights and responsibilities; • Comply with, and ensure team compliance with, all Quality, Environment, and Safety procedures, collaborating and participating in implementing essential measures to guarantee hygiene and safety conditions at the workplace. Requirements / Competencies: • Logistics experience (preferred) • Two years’ prior experience in similar roles • Experience leading teams (mandatory) • Availability to spend 3 months in Northern Portugal for training (accommodation, transportation, and allowance provided) (mandatory) • User-level computer skills • Analytical and problem-solving skills • Valid driver’s license for light and/or heavy vehicles (desirable) • Responsible and team-oriented • Willingness to relocate nationwide • Full and immediate availability • Flexible working hours Work Location: Beja Conditions: - Direct employment contract with the Company - Performance-based bonuses - Health insurance after 6 months of employment - Biweekly curative medical care
