If you're looking for more than just a job \- if you're looking for a place where you can truly make a difference \- you might be the next person to join **WIRE IT**. **Position:** Senior COBOL Developer **Location:** Porto or Lisbon (Hybrid). **Required skills:** * Degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a similar field; * At least 5 years of professional experience in similar roles; * Strong professional experience with COBOL; * Solid experience with CICS, DB2, and JCL; * Ability to understand, analyse, and maintain existing code; * Experience creating technical documentation, user guides, and API documentation; * Ability to consistently follow established coding standards, guidelines, and development best practices; * Commitment to producing clean, maintainable, and high\-quality code; * Ability to ensure compliance with production constraints, including costs, deadlines, and quality standards; * Flexibility and ability to adapt to different technical and functional tasks; * Proactive approach and ability to work autonomously; * Strong resilience, creativity, communication, and interpersonal skills; * Ability to make commitments and deliver accordingly; * Fluency in English, at least B2 level; * Knowledge of French is a plus; * Previous experience working in an international environment is a plus. **We offer:** * No\-term full\-time contract; * Health Insurance; * 22 days of paid vacation; * 4 extra days annually (Carnival, Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve, Birthday); * Meal Allowance on card (Coverflex); * Referral Bonus; * Special discounts and flex options; * Training annual budget; * A great team\-oriented culture; * Chance to become a part of a dynamically growing international company; * Challenging projects giving the unique opportunity to grow and learn.
