Linde Portugal, LDA **Filling Operator (m/f/d)** Porto, Portugal \| req27290 **What You Will Do** * You will be responsible for filling gases into cylinders, ensuring adherence to business-defined specifications. * You will correctly label the various products used, following the instructions and quality system protocols. * You must understand and follow the production schedule according to existing stock, controlling the process to prevent shortages of empty cylinders and promptly informing your supervisor in case of incidents. * You will correctly use scanners within the scope of your duties. * You will respond quickly and effectively to anomalies upon receipt of empty cylinders (e.g., batch labels not removed, containers without barcodes, etc.). * You will inspect and dispatch expired cylinders to the workshop for periodic testing. * You will classify and dispatch cylinders requiring inspection, calibration, or removal due to unsuitability for use. * You must manage and control the various raw materials involved, timely alerting colleagues when replenishment is needed. * You will be responsible for sorting and controlling finished products, ensuring all items are in their correct locations and comply with the FEFO principle, while maintaining workplace organization and cleanliness. * You will actively participate in the digitalization and automation of tasks, contributing to the company’s progress toward digital transformation. **What We Value in You** * Completed at least 9th grade education (12th grade preferred); * Additional qualifications such as Forklift Operator License and/or prior work experience in this role are advantageous; * Minimum experience in similar positions within the industrial sector; * Fluent Portuguese and basic English proficiency; * User-level computer skills; * Prepared to embrace new challenges and actively contribute to the success of the company’s digital transformation project; * Capable of collecting, interpreting, and effectively using data to drive digital transformation. **Why You’ll Value Working With Us** At Linde, we identify with our products—whether working in technical or medical gases.
