Job Summary: VIDÓR is seeking a Senior Structural Design Civil Engineer to develop civil engineering projects, prepare structural design projects, and coordinate them with other disciplines. In light of our continuous growth and expansion, we are seeking a **Senior Structural Design Civil Engineer registered with the Portuguese Order of Engineers (OEP)** to strengthen our **Technical Department**. **Position: Structural Design Civil Engineer** **Location: Porto** **Main Responsibilities:** * Comprehensive development of civil engineering projects across all phases of licensing and construction execution; * Preparation of **Structural Design Projects** (structural design of reinforced concrete, steel structures, foundations, etc.); * Coordination of designs with architecture and other disciplines; * Preparation of technical drawings, descriptive reports, quantity take-offs, and other project documentation; * Technical supervision of construction works and support for inspection during execution; * Liaison with licensing authorities, suppliers, and other members of the design team; * Strict adherence to deadlines, applicable legal regulations, and company-defined quality objectives; * Other duties inherent to the role. **Additional expertise valued (not mandatory):** * Acoustic Performance Assessment; * Thermal Performance Design (SCE); * Safety and Health Plan (PSS); * Fire Safety Design (SCIE). **Candidate Requirements:** * Active registration with the Order of Engineers with **Senior grade**; * Competencies compatible with authorship and signing of structural design projects for complex buildings (e.g., **high-rise buildings exceeding 10 storeys**) in accordance with current legislation; * Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Civil Engineering; * Solid knowledge of applicable technical regulations; * Proficiency in technical calculation and drafting software (AutoCAD, CYPE, Robot, SAP2000 or similar); * Ability to work in a **BIM environment (optional)**; * Critical analytical ability, technical rigor, and organizational skills; * Strong communication skills, ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams, and capacity to interact effectively with external entities; * Fluency in Portuguese and good command of technical English; * Valid driving license category B1. **Benefits:** * Competitive remuneration package, including base salary, meal allowance, performance bonuses, and other perks; * 40-hour weekly schedule with flexibility; * Specialized and continuous training; * A dynamic career plan offering tangible opportunities for professional advancement and salary increases based on performance evaluation. **Application:** To apply, submit your application or send your CV to **recrutamento@vidor.pt**. **Join VIDÓR and build your career at a leading company!** Salary: €2,500.00 – €2,800.00 per month Benefits: * Meal card/ticket * Commercial discounts * Free parking * Course fee reimbursement Work location: On-site
