This posting might be for you!** This role is part of the Customs Department at DHL Express and reports directly to Supervision. The GTW Customs team is responsible for customs clearance of shipments transported by DHL for both import and export, ensuring timely delivery to customers with all customs formalities fully completed, in line with DHL’s commitment to its business partners, the Portuguese Tax Authority (AT), and its customers. Candidates must demonstrate dynamism, perseverance, rigor, resilience, teamwork, and knowledge of customs legislation to clear all shipments requiring customs procedures at the customs authority within the shortest possible timeframe, taking necessary actions to achieve this objective and guaranteeing excellence in service to our customers. **Key Responsibilities:** * Perform daily validation of cargo manifests to ensure timely identification and tariff classification of shipments according to requirements set by national customs authorities. * Prepare customs declarations and resolve related queries. * Maintain continuous contact with customs authorities (customs agents) to resolve queries and process submitted declarations. * Analyze PPW documentation and enter data into the system; clarify queries raised by contact agents. * Prepare timely corrections / revisions and handle CAPs. * Provide administrative support to OPS Customs and GTW Finance colleagues whenever required. **Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree in International Trade (preferred) * Proficiency in Portuguese and English * Knowledge of Portuguese legislation (preferred) * Familiarity with Office 365 * Customer orientation * Commitment to excellence * Resilience and assertiveness * Focus on achieving objectives * Fluent verbal communication and strong argumentation skills * Active listening ability **Location:** Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport \- DHL Cargo Complex \- 4470\-995 Maia
