Opportunity for professional development in a dynamic sector #### **About the Procurement Technician Role** **Procurement Technician \| Maia** ================================= We are recruiting for our client—a multinational automotive company located in Maia—to strengthen its team by integrating a Procurement Technician. **Main Responsibilities** -------------------------------- * Procure materials, services, and equipment according to defined specifications; * Ensure purchases comply with applicable technical requirements and safety standards; * Conduct market research and technical-commercial comparative analyses of suppliers; * Identify and negotiate with suppliers, establishing contracts and partnerships; * Monitor market trends, price developments, and open orders; * Ensure information registration and updates within the system; * Collaborate with internal teams to identify needs and track processes; * Participate in identifying improvement opportunities and implementing new technologies; * Contribute to cost optimization and operational efficiency; * Meet department-defined objectives and KPIs. **Requirements** -------------- * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Management, or a related field; * Minimum 2 years’ experience in procurement, preferably in an industrial environment; * Good command of English; * Knowledge of Mandarin (preferred); * Strong negotiation and communication skills; * Analytical mindset and attention to detail; * Sense of responsibility and commitment; * Willingness to undertake occasional national and international travel. **Offer** ---------- * Integration into an experienced, multidisciplinary team; * Opportunity for professional development in a dynamic and continuously evolving sector.
