Job Summary: The Junior Quality Engineer supports planning, control, and continuous improvement of quality in industrial units, with a strong practical component and exposure to production. Contribution to continuous improvement initiatives The mission of the Junior Quality Engineer is to support and reinforce quality planning, control, and continuous improvement activities within Industry / GSE (Ground Support Equipment) units. This role offers a strong practical component, with exposure to mass production and projects, directly contributing to product conformity, process robustness, and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities * Support the implementation and monitoring of quality processes and procedures, in accordance with internal, customer, and regulatory requirements * Support inspection planning, first article inspections (FAI), and control plans * Support root cause analysis and corrective actions using quality tools (8D, Ishikawa, 5 Whys) * Participate in internal audits and support preparation for customer and external audits * Support management and response to customer quality complaints, including investigation, root cause analysis, and follow-up of corrective actions * Support supplier quality monitoring, including non-conformities, documentation, and improvement actions * Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in production and quality processes Profile * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Quality Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Materials Engineering, or similar * 0–2 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment * Basic knowledge of quality tools and problem-solving methodologies * Comfortable working on the shop floor and with multidisciplinary teams * Organized, pragmatic profile with strong willingness to learn * Fluency in Portuguese and English MCG – Manuel da Conceição Graça is an industrial group focused on the development and manufacturing of complex, high-performance metal solutions.
