Opportunity for growth and integration into a modern team POSITION: Canine Monitor – Daycare and Events Location: Mafra / Ericeira Start Date: May 25 About the Position We are looking for a canine monitor passionate about dogs who wishes to grow within a distinctive project — a space that unites animal welfare, training, and outdoor experiences. Here, it is not just "caring for dogs." It is actively participating in their behavioral development, socialization, and emotional balance. Main Responsibilities: \- Supervision of dogs in a daycare setting \- Facilitation of play and socialization sessions \- Walks and group management \- Support in basic training (guided by the team) \- Participation in events and activities held at the facility \- Monitoring of dogs' behavior and well-being \- Maintenance of space organization and cleanliness Candidate Profile: \- Previous experience with dogs (daycare, training, boarding, volunteering, or similar) \- Strong ability to read canine behavior (ESSENTIAL) \- Calm, confident, and energetically balanced individual \- Organized, responsible, and punctual \- Good physical fitness (active, outdoor work) \- Team spirit and willingness to learn \- Driver's license (preferred) Bonus (not required but preferred): \- Experience managing groups of dogs \- Interest in professional development in this field Important Notes \- We do not use aversive methods \- It is not merely "liking dogs," but knowing how to handle them We seek someone aligned with an approach grounded in respect, understanding of canine behavior, and animal welfare.
