As Architects of Change™, we align our clients’ strategic vision with our technological expertise across key industry drivers (such as: Cybersecurity, Managed Digital Fabric, Data & AI, Connectivity, Digital Workplace, Cloud), and address their priorities—including operational efficiency, innovation, risk/compliance, and data governance. **Job Description** ----------------------- To strengthen the Logicalis Portugal team, we are looking for a Senior Software Engineer responsible for defining technical standards and architecture, guiding the development team, ensuring quality, security, and CI/CD practices, and collaborating with product and operations teams to deliver scalable, business-aligned solutions. **Required Skills and Experience** ----------------------------------------- * Ability to define technical standards, architecture, and development practices, ensuring high-quality, secure, performant, and resilient code in production environments; * Experience orchestrating end-to-end delivery with CI/CD and observability, promoting responsible team autonomy and alignment with product and operational objectives; * Knowledge of implementing on-premises, hybrid, and cloud solutions, applying security best practices, observability, and integration with existing systems; * Leadership in architectural decisions for backend and frontend (Java/Spring Boot, Python/FastAPI, React/Angular), ensuring scalability, consistent testing, and code reviews; * Experience implementing and maintaining end-to-end CI/CD pipelines and observability (logs, metrics, distributed tracing); * Ability to coordinate enterprise integrations (ServiceNow, Jira, CRMs) and iPaaS (e.g., Boomi), including mapping, validation, and compliance; * Proficiency in practices such as Domain-Driven Design (DDD), clean architecture, application security, and secret/IAM management throughout the development lifecycle; * Skill to provide technical guidance to the team, elevate quality standards, and align practices with product and operations; * Experience leading L2/L3 production support: incident triage and resolution, preventive scaling (on-call), SLA management, and root-cause-focused post-mortems with corrective actions; * Knowledge of operating and evolving applications in on-premises, hybrid, or cloud environments: VMs, networks, VPNs, certificates, Nginx/reverse proxy, load balancing, and hardening of exposed services; * Technical expertise in: **\- Backend:** Java with Spring Boot and Python with FastAPI, with experience in testing (unit/integration), performance, and security hardening; **\- Frontend:** React and/or Angular, componentization, state management, and integration with secure APIs; **\- Cloud & DevOps:** Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD on Azure/AWS/GCP, with observability and incident response practices; **\- Data:** PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis—modeling, caching, migrations, and operational resilience; **\- Integrations:** REST/webhooks, message queues, and iPaaS (Boomi) for data orchestration and transformation; **\- Security:** Spring Security, OAuth/OpenID, secret management, and access policies adhering to the principle of least privilege; *If you seek an opportunity to lead innovative projects technically, contribute to building scalable and secure solutions, and collaborate with diverse, multidisciplinary teams, this could be your next journey.
