Job Summary: We are seeking a qualified professional to ensure the procurement of materials, equipment, and services for construction projects, guaranteeing optimal quality-to-price ratio and efficient supplier management. We are a recruitment agency supporting one of our clients — a medium-sized civil engineering and construction company headquartered in Telheiras, Lisbon — currently undergoing solid expansion and growth of its operations. We seek qualified professionals to join our client’s permanent staff directly, ensuring a transparent selection process focused on valuing competencies. Job Purpose: Ensure procurement of materials, equipment, and services required for the company’s construction projects and works, guaranteeing optimal quality-to-price ratio, timely delivery, and efficient supplier management. Main Responsibilities: Research, select, and negotiate with national and international suppliers. Prepare and manage quotation requests, supply contracts, and purchase orders. Monitor the construction materials market, including hardware, concrete, timber, and technical equipment. Control stock levels and ensure timely replenishment for construction sites. Review invoices and resolve non-conformities with suppliers. Use management software and Office tools (Excel for data analysis, Word for reporting) and AutoCAD for technical interpretation of materials and projects. Requirements: Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role (preferably in civil construction). Solid knowledge of Excel, Word, and AutoCAD (valued). Negotiation skills, organizational ability, and analytical mindset. What We Offer: Direct employment contract with the client.
