**YOUR IMPACT**
Santander Portugal is looking for a **Credit Risk Support Intern** based in **Lisbon**.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to collaborate across areas related to Credit Risk, supporting control, monitoring, reporting, auditing, and continuous improvement initiatives—contributing to the quality, efficiency, and robustness of the Bank’s risk processes.
You will work closely with various Risk teams, corporate functions, and internal stakeholders, gaining a comprehensive understanding of the Bank’s operations and key risk management processes.
To succeed in this role, you will be responsible for:
* Supporting the execution of periodic controls and risk monitoring activities related to Credit Risk processes;
* Collaborating in the preparation and analysis of management information, performance indicators, and internal reports;
* Participating in the collection, validation, and processing of information from different areas of the Bank;
* Supporting initiatives related to internal and external audits, ensuring proper organization and availability of required information;
* Contributing to the identification of opportunities for process improvement and automation;
* Participating in cross-functional projects impacting risk management and control.

**Professional Experience**
* Prior internship experience is valued but not mandatory.
**Academic Qualifications**
* Academic qualification completed or nearing completion in Economics, Management, Finance, Accounting, or related fields.
**Languages**
* Proficiency in English;
* Knowledge of Spanish is valued.
**Hard Skills**
* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel;
* Knowledge of Power BI, Power Query, or data analytics tools is valued;
* Interest in data analysis, reporting, and process improvement.
**Soft Skills**
* High sense of responsibility and rigor;
* Strong analytical ability and attention to detail;
* Good organizational and priority management skills;
* Effective communication and interpersonal relationship skills;
* Proactivity and willingness to learn;
