Main Responsibilities Conduct detailed technical inspections and appraisals of properties (residential, commercial, and/or industrial). Identify and diagnose construction pathologies, anomalies, defects, and deficiencies in buildings. Prepare thorough and well-founded technical appraisal reports, including descriptions of pathologies, their probable causes, and recommended repair/rehabilitation solutions. Monitor and supervise the execution of correction and rehabilitation works, ensuring technical compliance. Provide technical consultancy to clients regarding building maintenance and preservation. Essential Requirements Higher academic degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field. Proven professional experience of at least 2 years. Knowledge of applicable legislation and technical standards in Portugal (e.g., Building Regulations, Land Registry Code). Ability to use diagnostic tools and non-destructive testing methods (preferred): thermal imaging camera, CCTV camera, geophone, tracer gas. Professional registration/certification (e.g., Order of Engineers, Order of Architects, CMVM certification as Appraisal Expert – if applicable). Excellent oral and written communication skills and report writing abilities. Valid driver's license and availability for travel.
