We work with our customers to develop optimal solutions to help overcome their challenges. We are looking for a **Rail System Integration Engineer (m/f/d)** to join our team! Drive system\-specific integration activities to ensure technical solutions are fit for purpose, both functionally and operationally. This includes conducting gap analyses across the project portfolio and contributing to the definition of the integration strategy, leading to the final validation of solutions. System Integration is a key discipline within systems engineering, playing a critical role in the successful deployment of Siemens Mobility solutions by leveraging lessons learned from previous projects and driving continuous innovation. **What will be your main activities?*** Identify the gaps in projects needs vs project intended portfolio, including the preparation of reports that will lead to updates in the URS (User Requirement Specification) for R\&D/Solution provider. * Ensure compliance with the overall Integration strategy during the complete project lifecycle. * Prepare the System Integration plans. * Elaborate the System Tests Specifications, execution and support of integration tests in the laboratory and execution support on\-site. * Collaborate with HQ segments for integration activities. * Provide support to System Management teams in the preparation of Requirements specifications of the different systems used in Mobility. * Support the System Manager in the preparation of the Migration Strategy (when required) to ensure the best solution is delivered. * Execute the safety activities related to tests according to Safety \& Assurance. **What do you need to qualify for this job?*** Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Telecommunications, Electronics, Computer Science, Industrial or similar). * Basic knowledge in Requirements Management, test specification, traceability, and incident management. * Interest in Siemens Products and System Development. * Interest in System Integration \& System Test Bench. * International mindset and willingness to collaborate with HQ teams. * Strong motivation to learn, with a natural focus on process improvement and automation. * Excellent communication and teamwork skills. * Fluent in English. * Readiness for occasional travel. * Self\-confident, proactive, and eager to grow professionally. **Experience in the following technologies and fields of knowledge will be valued:*** Knowledge in CENELEC (or similar standards) product development lifecycle. * Knowledge in railway systems and technology. * Knowledge of mass transit systems (CBTC solutions, UTO, STO, ATS, IxL, DTG…). * Knowledge and experience developing in C and Java programming language and environment. * Protocols and communication networks over TCP / IP. * Communications protocols for industrial control (OPC and similar). * IT systems (Servers, clustering and high availability IT architectures, databases, SAN storage, NAS, etc.).
