Roots- An introduction to therapeutic group work Hello, and welcome. Thank you for joining this event. Participating in this session will give you a chance to get to know me and to help you make an informed decision if group work is something that might help and guide you in transforming into the woman you want to become. This session is about reflecting on our roots. How we became the women we are today? Every woman has a story – a story worth being told. What’s yours? Your story began long before you were born. Part of your story was written by your ancestors. Together we will honour the legacy we have received through our female lineage, and we will connect with our generational threads of love, loss, strength and silence. This gathering is an invitation to pause and listen- to trace your roots, embrace with gratitude, love and compassion who you are, and gently release what no longer serves you. Through reflection, meditation and writing, we will journey together into the heart of our lineage- exploring how the women before us shaped the women we are today. And from that place of awareness, we will plant new seeds: intentions for the woman we want to become. Groups are intentionally kept small- maximum 10 participants. This will enable everyone present to have space to share, to be, and to connect without feeling rushed. Our session will include: A guided exploration of generational legacy A meditation to release inherited stories and patterns that no longer serve you Writing reflections to connect with your truth, a chance to edit your story A moment to set intentions for your future self This is a space for women who long to connect deeply- with themselves, with one another, and with the quiet wisdom of their ancestors. Bring a candle, pen and paper, and if you wish, a small object that reminds you of your roots- a photograph, a piece of jewellery, a memory made tangible. No prior experience of therapy, meditation or mindfulness needed. Come with an open heart, as you are- you are welcomed! I can’t wait to meet you, to listen to your story, to hear the woman within who is ready to rise. Ready to be bold, vocal, and seen! You are an ancestor in becoming- it is in your power to change the legacy you want to pass forward! I, Gianina Ionela Ardeleanu, a BACP Accredited Psychotherapist, will guide the session. I will facilitate through the lens of my professional expertise, while also drawing upon my personal experiences- as a woman, daughter, sister, mother, wife, an immigrant. Each of these roles has shaped how I understand relationships, belonging, and healing. Until we meet, remember- You are lovable! You are love able!
