Though ideally, a heroine. **The Position** **Support & Security Technician (IT / Systems / Applications)** **Employment Type:** **Hybrid — 3 days/week in Lisbon** **What You’ll Actually Do (and Do Well)** * Keep security applications and platforms running smoothly. * Manage users, permissions, logs, tickets, and everything that keeps operations organized. * Coordinate with vendors and ensure every request is resolved without unnecessary drama. * Screen external entities working with us (yes, validate everything and everyone). * Support operations in our data centers — mission-critical environments where nothing can fail. * Assist in operating physical security, fire protection, HVAC, and infrastructure systems. * Ensure contracts, documentation, and processes are up-to-date (and not lost in a drawer). * Serve as the bridge between internal teams and keep everything flowing smoothly. * Participate in patch updates, security system upgrades, and critical application maintenance. **What We’re Looking For In You** * Vocational qualification in Electrotechnics, Telecommunications, Electrical Installations, or even Surveillance. * Foundational knowledge of IT, networking, or technical support. * Ability to work with technical systems. * Organization, responsibility, and attention to detail. * Calmness when the rest of the world is panicking. * Strong communication skills (you don’t need to be a poet — just clear). * Ethics, integrity, and a security-first mindset. * Willingness to learn and grow — including pursuing further studies, if desired. **Nice-to-have (but not deal-breakers):** * Experience in mission-critical environments or facility management. * Basic knowledge of electricity, HVAC, or electronic security. * Experience with fire protection systems or DCIM tools. * Candidates with prior experience in surveillance control rooms also fit very well.
