Develop competencies in a critical HR area **We Are Recruiting: Payroll Technician – Lisbon (Maternity Leave Coverage)** We are looking for a **Payroll Technician** to join a project in a banking context, covering a maternity leave. If you are organized, meticulous, and focused on efficiency in HR administrative processes, this opportunity is for you. **Key Responsibilities** * Contract management, payroll processing, compensation, and benefits; * Updating and maintaining employee data in internal systems and individual files; * Monitoring absenteeism, holidays, and overtime, ensuring compliance with labor legislation and internal policies; * Ensuring fulfillment of all legal obligations; * Monthly payroll processing, including calculations, validations, and preparation of information for accounting; * Supporting resolution of payroll-related issues and HR administrative management. **Candidate Profile** * Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; * 1–2 years of experience in similar roles; * Knowledge of labor legislation, particularly the Labor Code (preferred); * Strong communication and interpersonal skills; * High level of organization, planning, and deadline adherence; * Analytical ability, critical thinking, and attention to detail; * Proactive, responsible profile with a willingness to learn; * Availability for 100% on-site work. **What We Offer** * Fixed-term contract covering maternity leave; * Competitive base salary, plus meal allowance; * Flexible working hours, promoting work-life balance; * Opportunity for technical development and continuous learning in a strategic HR area.
