Job Summary: We are seeking an Engineering Technician to monitor and control the water supply network, calculate performance indicators, and support infrastructure management. Key Highlights: 1. We are reinforcing our company’s engineering department and therefore seeking an **Engineering Technician**, focused on water-related matters, for the **Azambuja** region. **Responsibilities**: * Daily monitoring and control of water supply zones to detect leaks / anomalies in the supply network (daily analysis of flow rates / consumption and pressures at various control points of the distribution network (Telemetry Management and Neptune software)); * Calculation of technical performance indicators; * Execution of the Water Balance per ZMC (Zone of Measurement and Control); * Analysis of incidents in the water supply network to implement the “Water Distribution Network Renewal Plan” – infrastructure asset management (IAM); * Support in implementing the water meter replacement plan, calculation of FOR (Optimal Replacement Frequency) for the meter fleet, calculation of overall error and error degradation curve of the meter fleet, and water meter calibration plan; * Study, installation, programming, and maintenance of data loggers at strategic points of the water distribution network; * Support in updating/capturing data in the GIS (Geographic Information System); * Mathematical modeling of the water supply network to redefine / optimize ZMC (Zone of Measurement and Control) boundaries and sub-sectorization (creation of new sub-zones); * Support in sizing, installation, and maintenance of pressure-reducing valves (PRVs) and flow meters; * Review of building water network projects and issuance of technical opinions; **Requirements**: * Civil Engineer, Hydraulic specialization, or Environmental Engineer (Bachelor’s and Integrated Master’s degrees), Sanitary Engineering specialization; * Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar position; * Residence in Azambuja or adjacent areas. **Conditions**: * Integration into a leading multinational; * Permanent contract; * Salary: up to €2,250 gross; * Health insurance; * Meal allowance via meal card; * Hybrid work regime. * SAUR is a company committed to diversity and equal opportunities.
