About the Role We are seeking a Senior or Lead Data Engineer with extensive experience in developing cloud-native data pipelines, preferably within Microsoft environments. This role focuses on designing, implementing, and optimizing scalable data solutions that support organizational decision-making and analytics strategies. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with strong architectural vision and the ability to provide technical leadership and mentoring. Requirements * Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Engineering or related field. * Minimum of 5 years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on cloud-native solutions and scalable architecture. * Experience in technical leadership or mentoring (mandatory for Lead profiles). Technical Skills * Advanced experience in data architecture and design, covering ingestion, modeling, storage, and orchestration (e.g., Medallion architecture). * Proficiency in Microsoft data technologies: Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics. * Experience with data warehouses and data lakes (e.g., Azure Data Lake, Delta Lake, BigQuery, Amazon Redshift). * Proficiency in Python (libraries such as Pandas, Boto3), SQL, and Spark. * Solid knowledge of RDBMS databases (Oracle, MS SQL Server) or NoSQL databases (MongoDB, ElasticSearch, GBQ). * Experience with DevOps/DataOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines for data pipelines. * Ability to implement large-scale data validation, lineage, documentation, and monitoring. * Experience optimizing pipelines and storage for performance, cost, and reliability. Behavioral Skills (Soft Skills) * Ability to evaluate trade-offs and justify technical decisions with sound reasoning. * Skill in translating complex concepts into clear terms for non-technical audiences. * Experience mentoring mid/junior engineers and promoting collaborative practices. * Strong analytical thinking, capable of decomposing complex problems into objective actions. * Accountability for outcomes and long-term vision for data platform evolution.
