Selling my OPPO BDP-83 Blu-ray player (single owner). This is the European version, region-free, but not the SE (Special Edition) version, which includes some audiophile upgrades. It shows some natural wear due to age, but purely cosmetic. Otherwise, it functions perfectly, as does the remote control, which remains in pristine condition since I used a programmable universal remote for all my equipment instead of the original. I replaced the belt today—previously slightly loose—with a new one (see photos), and the tray now opens perfectly; previously, it would only open when a disc was inside (a well-known issue reflecting this exact problem). If you still plan on playing plenty of standard DVDs and take image quality seriously, the BDP-83 is the player for you." For the curious: it originally cost €700, but I believe it has been discontinued, making it virtually impossible to find brand new. Even used units are rare. Pickup only; payment accepted via MB Way or cash.
