The Foundation carries out its activities from its headquarters in Lisbon and its delegations in Paris and London. We seek to strengthen the Communication Service team with an Audiovisual Technician. This role is responsible for ensuring the installation and operation of audiovisual systems associated with the Gulbenkian Foundation’s events, initiatives, exhibitions, conferences, and performances, guaranteeing the necessary quality standards throughout their execution. **Contractual conditions:** Indefinite-term employment contract. Main responsibilities **Content production and capture:** Ensure digital video capture in indoor and outdoor environments, applying appropriate practices and audiovisual languages tailored to guarantee technical, aesthetic, and narrative excellence of content. This function includes operating cameras, digital audio equipment, lighting, and, where applicable, drones. **Advanced editing and post-production:** Perform video and audio editing and post-production, including assembly, graphic animation, color grading, and musical sound design. Ensure narrative fluency and technical quality of final content across diverse platforms and channels. **Project and workflow management:** Actively participate in planning the team’s production cycle. This responsibility involves active participation in briefing meetings with various organizational units of the Foundation, scheduling productions, meeting deadlines, and jointly assuming upstream and downstream accountability for final narrative quality control. **Optimization and continuous improvement:** Continuously analyze and reassess production processes and working methods. Identify optimization opportunities and implement solutions that enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and alignment with available operational resources. Required competencies Bachelor’s degree. Master’s degree (preferred). Minimum three years’ professional experience in similar roles. Advanced proficiency in editing and post-production software (Adobe Premiere, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Media Encoder, etc.). Advanced knowledge of digital photography, audio, lighting, and image processing (Photoshop, Lightroom). Basic knowledge of digital animation and familiarity with software such as Blender. Strong writing skills and fluency in Portuguese and English. Knowledge of subtitling writing and basic content cataloging concepts. Understanding of script language, storyboards, and briefings. Good communication skills, autonomy, and teamwork spirit. General knowledge of GDPR.
