Applications until Nov 03 The Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation is a private institution whose fundamental purpose is to improve people's quality of life through art, charity, science, and education. The Foundation carries out its activities from its headquarters in Lisbon and its delegations in Paris and London. We are seeking to strengthen the Communication Department with an Audiovisual Technician. This role is responsible for ensuring the installation and operation of audiovisual systems related to events, initiatives, exhibitions, conferences, and performances organized by the Gulbenkian Foundation, guaranteeing the necessary quality standards throughout their execution. **Employment conditions:** Permanent employment contract. Main responsibilities **Production and content capture:** Ensure digital video recording in indoor and outdoor environments, applying appropriate practices and suitable audiovisual languages to guarantee technical, aesthetic, and narrative excellence of content. This includes operating cameras, digital audio equipment, lighting, and, when applicable, drones. **Editing and advanced post\-production:** Perform video and audio editing and post\-production, including assembly, graphic animation, color grading, and musical sound design. Ensure narrative fluidity and technical quality of final content across various platforms and channels. **Project and workflow management:** Actively participate in planning the team's production cycle. This responsibility includes active participation in briefing meetings with various departments of the Foundation, scheduling productions, ensuring deadlines are met, and sharing responsibility upstream and downstream for the final quality control of narratives. **Optimization and continuous improvement:** Constantly analyze and reassess production processes and working methods. Identify optimization opportunities and implement solutions that promote efficiency, effectiveness, and alignment with available operational resources. Required competencies Bachelor's degree. Master’s degree (preferable). Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in similar roles. Advanced proficiency in editing and post\-production software (Adobe Premiere, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Media Encoder, etc.). Advanced knowledge of digital photography, audio, lighting, and image processing (Photoshop, Lightroom). Basic knowledge of digital animation and familiarity with software such as Blender. Strong writing skills and fluency in Portuguese and English. Knowledge of subtitling writing and basic content cataloging. Understanding of script language, storyboards, and briefings. Good communication skills, autonomy, and teamwork spirit. General knowledge of GDPR.
