This role involves building scalable, high-performance applications with end\-to\-end responsibility for services—from design and development through deployment and monitoring.** * Develop scalable backend services and distributed systems. * Develop cloud\-native microservices supporting global applications. * Build high-performance APIs and event-driven architectures. * Assume end\-to\-end responsibility for services, including design, development, testing, deployment, and monitoring. * Contribute to improving system reliability, performance, and scalability. * Participate in architectural decisions and definition of engineering standards and best practices. * Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in an Agile environment. * Investigate and resolve complex technical incidents in production. * Develop solutions using C\#, .NET 10, and ASP.NET Core. * Work with Microsoft Azure, Azure DevOps, and Kubernetes (AKS and Azure Container Apps). * Work with Microsoft SQL Server. * Apply Domain\-Driven Design and Clean Architecture principles. * Use modern development tools, including GitHub Copilot. * **Requirements:** ----------------- * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent field; professional experience may be considered in lieu of formal education. * Minimum of 5\+ years of backend development experience. * Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming (OOP) and software design. * Experience designing scalable APIs and distributed systems. * Experience with cloud environments and containerized applications. * Experience with microservice architectures. * Ability to assume ownership of systems and deliver production-ready software. * Experience working in international environments and English-speaking teams. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Proficiency in English (mandatory). * Permanent residency in Portugal and valid documentation for employment in the country. **Work Location:** Lisbon **Work Model:** Hybrid (2 days/week) \- Flexible
