We are seeking a Student Advisor to join the Student Affairs team, who will be responsible for guiding and supporting students throughout their academic journey, providing personalized advising, monitoring individual academic progress and needs, and managing integration programs. The role requires empathy, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work with diverse student populations. **Main responsibilities:** Provide individualized follow\-up for all students and support the development of comprehensive success plans for those facing academic, financial, health, or personal difficulties; Monitor and analyze students' academic progress and needs; Follow up on scholarships, study interruptions, deferrals, and dropouts; Evaluate absence justifications and manage internal complaints, ensuring timely resolution; Organize and lead meetings for specific student groups, such as international students, worker\-students, and high\-performance athletes; Develop and manage student welcome and integration programs, promoting a sense of community and belonging; Supervise the logistical and operational aspects of planned activities; Ensure the operational component of the role, including email management, scheduling and conducting meetings with students, as well as organizing and updating files and records; Monitor student participation and satisfaction and prepare reports on initiatives. **What we are looking for:** 2 to 3 years of experience in student mentoring, counseling, or similar roles will be valued; A bachelor's degree in Humanities or Social Sciences fields, including Psychology, Education, or related areas, is recommended; Fluency in written and spoken English; Experience with Office 365 tools is an asset; Excellent interpersonal, communication, teamwork, and problem\-solving skills; Ability to work with diverse student populations. **What we offer:** A dynamic and enthusiastic team; Hybrid work arrangement; Benefits platform with access to partnerships and discounts; Opportunities for development and progression through various training programs; A campus with a gym, library, medical clinic, supermarket, restaurants, and access to Carcavelos beach and promenade.
