**General Job Description**
We are looking for 2 Application Managers (m/f) to join the Corporate Systems team at Santander Portugal. This role combines the responsibilities of an **Application Manager** with **Project Management** competencies, ensuring the technological evolution of core and regulatory systems in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. If you have experience in functional analysis, system development, and coordination of digital initiatives, this challenge is for you.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Be functionally responsible for a set of core and regulatory applications.
* Identify, prioritize, and coordinate improvements delivering tangible business impact.
* Define, design, and implement new functionalities in collaboration with internal and external teams.
* Ensure retention of critical knowledge within the Bank, strengthening our technological autonomy.
* Work closely with multidisciplinary teams in Portugal and across various geographies of the Santander Group.
**Requirements**
* **Solid experience (5+ years)** in system development and implementation, with strong functional analysis capabilities.
* Knowledge of **Cobol, CICS, DB2, Oracle**, and openness to learning/applying newer technologies (APIs, Oracle FCCS, PEGA, among others).
* Experience with **Agile methodologies** and **DevOps practices**.
* Analytical mindset, problem-solving orientation, and adaptability in dynamic environments.
* Experience in the financial sector, especially in regulatory contexts. (preferred)
* Ability to lead technical initiatives and support/mentor team members. (preferred)
