Proficiency in optimizing models for various hardware types What We Are Looking For? * Senior experience (5+ years) in AI Engineering, specifically with LLMs and NLP systems; * Proven skills in designing and integrating LLM-based functionalities (classification, extraction, summarization, action orchestration); * Solid experience with embedding and retrieval pipelines (RAG, semantic search) and vector databases; * Solid experience building and maintaining robust production data pipelines for training and evaluation; * Practical experience with inference runtime environments (e.g., ONNX Runtime, TensorFlow Lite) and optimizing model deployment across various hardware types (CPU, GPU, NPU, DSP), including resource-constrained/embedded systems; * Proficiency in defining evaluation metrics and quality criteria for LLM behavior, along with model calibration and analysis of the accuracy-latency trade-off; * Strong Python knowledge and experience with relevant ML frameworks; * Familiarity with MLOps practices and monitoring; * Fluency in English; * Eligibility to work in Portugal (Portuguese citizen or valid work authorization).
