




**About the Project** **E\-Commerce Connect** is the leading event bringing together leaders and solutions in the retail and digital commerce universe in Portugal and Poland. We are growing and looking for someone with energy, curiosity, and a results\-driven mindset. The event has held eight editions in Portugal since 2018, and two in Poland since 2024\. **Opportunity** We are seeking a junior profile — final\-year student or recent graduate — to join our team, particularly within the sales area. The mission? Help us boost the presence of outstanding brands at E\-Commerce Connect. More than a job opening, this is an opportunity to integrate a dynamic team with an entrepreneurial, collaborative spirit, focused on achieving goals. **Ideal Candidate:** * Final\-year student or recent graduate in Marketing, Business Management, Communications, or related fields. * Interest in business, sales, e\-commerce, retail, events, and the commercial field in general. * Enjoy communicating with people and feel comfortable speaking on the phone. * Professional writing skills and clear communication. * Fluent written and spoken Portuguese and English. * Most importantly \- Honesty, strong initiative, eagerness to learn, and genuine curiosity. * Resilience: persistence and ability to handle rejection, turning it into an opportunity to learn and progress. * Optional \- Previous experience in sales or commercial roles will be valued. **Additional Benefits:** **International exposure**: This role offers the chance to collaborate directly with various international clients (Spain, France, Italy, United Kingdom, Germany, among others). **Focus on the Polish market**: including occasional travel opportunities to Poland for meetings and for organizing the annual E\-Commerce Connect Poland event. **Workplace:** We work right by the sea! Our office at CoWork Lab, located just meters from the oceanfront promenade, provides a highly pleasant and inspiring environment where ideas flow better with the Atlantic breeze. **Main Responsibilities:** * Identify and qualify *leads* (decision\-makers from companies offering e\-commerce/retail solutions). * Contact and manage the current client portfolio as well as potential new event sponsors via LinkedIn, email, phone, and other channels. * Schedule and participate in sales meetings, presenting the event, its format, available sponsorship packages, etc. * Negotiate, send proposals, and close deals. * Participate in internal follow\-up and alignment meetings. **What We Offer:** * Practical and detailed training about the event, sales approach, and tools. * Daily support and continuous feedback. * Opportunities for growth, networking, and industry visibility. * Connection with the international market. **Employment Model** Monthly fixed salary \+ commission on sales achieved Job type: Full\-time / Part\-time Compensation: €500.00 \- €1,500.00 per month Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week Expected start date: 10/01/2025
