What we are looking for: Teamwork Strong attention to detail Good communication skills This **Operations Assistant** role reports to the **Operations Area Coordinator**. **Main Objectives** ✅ Ensure production orders are completed correctly and on time; ️ Follow the Weekly Production Schedule; Produce/pack products according to quality and safety standards; and Support the maintenance department with equipment repairs. ️ **Responsibilities** * Operate equipment (mixers, packaging machines, freezing tunnel, industrial cutter) safely and efficiently; * Weigh and prepare raw materials according to recipes; * Assemble boxes for product packaging; * Prepare and customize customer orders; * Perform quality checks; * Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workplace; * Comply with Safety and HACCP regulations; * Follow the Weekly Plan defined by the Shift Leader; * Apply Good Manufacturing Practices; * Report production issues to supervisors; * Carry out maintenance tasks when required; and * Perform other duties as requested. **Requirements** * Ability to handle bags up to 25 kg; * No physical limitations; * Ability to operate manual pallet trucks safely; and * Availability to work shifts (including nights and weekends during high-demand periods). **Preferred Experience** Professional technical course (Level 4 - QNQ) in: Mechanics | Mechatronics | Electrical Engineering | Electronics; 1–2 years of experience with packaging machinery; Knowledge of GMP & HACCP; Ability to interpret production plans and manage line changes; *️ Experience in manufacturing operations (electronic setups, line control, troubleshooting, etc.); Familiarity with preventive maintenance; and ️ Strong communication skills in Portuguese and English.
