As a **Regional Support Trainer for Portugal**, you will be the in\-region voice for Sovos' AI and product enablement programmes, delivering hands\-on training to support agents across our Portugal and broader EMEA operations in both English and Portuguese. You'll be responsible for delivering, localising, and reinforcing the AI and product enablement programmes that keep Sovos' Portugal customer\-support teams ready for every product launch and continuously fluent in the AI tools that power our work. You'll run live training sessions, coach agents on the floor, and partner with regional support leadership to make sure enablement actually sticks. *More specifically, you will:* * Facilitate live and virtual training sessions for AI Pods, product launches, and ongoing skill development across the Portugal support organisation * Deliver content in both English and Portuguese, adapting tone and examples for the regional audience * Run new\-hire onboarding modules covering Sovos products, AI tools (TheLoops, Salesforce, Ask Sovi), and support processes * Floor\-walk with support agents to observe AI tool usage in live cases and provide real\-time coaching on TheLoops, Salesforce, and Ask Sovi best practices * Run weekly office hours for agents with questions, blockers, or improvement ideas * Adapt central enablement content for the Portugal audience and language * Partner with Knowledge Management to keep Portuguese\-language knowledge articles accurate, discoverable, and bot\-ready * Translate or quality\-review Portuguese\-language bot, portal, and KB content as needed * Gather structured feedback from agents and supervisors after every training cycle and escalate gaps and improvement ideas to the AI \& Product Enablement Manager * Track regional adoption metrics for AI tools and report progress to Portugal support leadership * Serve as the Portugal point of contact for major product launches, ensuring regional teams have training, documentation, and tooling ready on day one * Coordinate with Product, support leadership, and Knowledge Management on launch readiness checks **What We Need From You** * 3\+ years in training, learning \& development, enablement, or a customer\-support role with formal training responsibilities * Hands\-on experience using AI or automation tools in a support, sales, or operations context * Strong facilitation skills with both in\-person and virtual delivery experience * Fluent written and spoken English and Portuguese (both required at professional working level) * Located in Lisbon, Portugal * Bachelor's degree in Education, Communications, Business, or related field; equivalent experience accepted Action\-oriented and self\-directed* \-you don't wait for someone to schedule your week * A confident facilitator, equally comfortable in a 5\-person huddle or a 30\-person webinar A practitioner of the tools you teach* \-you can demo, not just describe * Comfortable working in a global, distributed support organisation with stakeholders across multiple time zones * Due to client contractual obligations, the successful candidate will be asked to clear a background check upon hire **What Does Sovos Offer You?** The tools to enhance your life \- because we want you to enjoy your life outside of work and inside! * Health Insurance * Life Insurance * Personal Accidents Insurance * Meal Allowance * Continuing opportunities for further Learning \& Development * A chance to work with talented and passionate people in a rewarding and values\-driven environment!
