Collaboration with the mechanical design team Overview We are seeking an experienced mechanical engineer / robotics engineer to build, assemble, diagnose faults, and commission customized industrial machinery, with a focus on CNC automation and robotics. Working from engineering drawings and defined assembly procedures, you will be responsible for delivering fully functional, complete systems in accordance with specifications and within established deadlines. Where appropriate, you will contribute practical suggestions to simplify designs, improve assembly processes, and produce corresponding support documentation. The primary objective of this role is to help us build the automated machines that drive our manufacturing operations. Key Responsibilities * Perform mechanical assembly and installation of new industrial machines and robotic systems, working from technical drawings, specifications, and established assembly procedures. * Track assembly progress using production sheets and flag any issues or discrepancies requiring attention. * Collaborate closely with the mechanical design team to implement modifications during assembly as requirements evolve. * Prepare change reports whenever opportunities are identified to enhance the product or optimize future assemblies. * Coordinate with the machining workshop to perform adjustments or rework of precision components, as needed. * Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations and internal company procedures at all times. Requirements * Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production/Manufacturing Engineering, Robotics, or Mechatronics (or equivalent practical experience). * Proven experience assembling custom-built machines or purpose-specific equipment. * Ability to work independently from technical drawings and assembly documentation, with minimal supervision. * Strong problem-solving skills, with confidence to confront and resolve assembly challenges as they arise. * Solid practical knowledge of welding, metal fabrication, and machining principles. * Comfortable working with a wide range of mechanical and mechatronic components, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems, bearings, gearboxes/reducers, chain and belt drives, motors, and conveyor systems. * High attention to detail and commitment to precision. * Good spoken English communication skills, capable of comfortably participating in technical meetings. Compensation: €37,000.00 \- €60,000.00 per year Work Location: On-site
