Opportunity for professional growth We are looking for a talented **C\+\+ Developer** to join our Electronic Equities team. In this role, you will contribute to the development of high\-performance trading systems, working on both existing platform components and greenfield initiatives. The position offers the opportunity to work in a globally distributed environment where technical excellence, ownership, and innovation are essential. This position requires **regular office visits two days per week** in either Lisbon or Porto. **Responsibilities** * Design, develop and maintain Electronic Equities platform components * Take ownership of the platform lifecycle, covering development production support, CI/CD, bug fixing and performance optimization * Coordinate closely with global engineering business and support teams * Participate in architectural and technical design discussions * Drive innovation with a strong focus on greenfield development **Requirements** * Strong experience with modern C\+\+ * Solid understanding of software design and architecture principles and common data structures and algorithms * Confident Linux user with hands\-on development experience using CMake, GCC and GDB * Experience with trading platforms or FIX protocol development * Good written and spoken English * Ability to work effectively as part of a globally distributed team **Nice to have** * Background in electronic trading or capital markets * Experience with low\-latency or high\-performance systems * Knowledge of CI/CD practices in large scale environments **We offer** * Competitive compensation depending on experience and skills * Variety of projects within one company * Being a part of a project following engineering excellence standards * Individual career path and professional growth opportunities * Internal events and communities * Flexible work hours
