THE PURPOSE We are seeking a motivated and committed Technical Sales Engineer to join our dynamic Upgrade Sales team. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving the rapid growth of our Aftersales business for upgrades. Acting as a key interface between markets, Service departments, and headquarters functions, you will work cross\-functionally and globally within the Nordex Group—making a direct impact on our business success. YOUR TASKS Provide technical consulting to customers and internal teams on the selection and implementation of upgrade solutions. Prepare technical and commercial proposals tailored to customer requirements. Conduct needs analysis to develop suitable upgrade concepts based on customer demands. Deliver product presentations and technical training for customers and internal stakeholders. Support the execution of upgrade projects from initial inquiry through implementation. Collaborate closely with Engineering, Product Management, and Service departments to ensure technical feasibility. Monitor market trends and customer needs to identify new business opportunities. YOUR PROFILE A degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related technical field. 3–5 years of experience in technical sales or customer consulting—ideally within the wind energy or renewable sector. Understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, or IT and SCADA; knowledge of wind turbine technology is an advantage. High level of self‑motivation and drive to close contracts, paired with the ability to independently identify, address, and remove blockers Familiarity with process design, KPI tracking, and efficiency improvement tools. Excellent communication and presentation skills, combined with intercultural awareness; experience in client communication is a strong asset. A proactive, solution\-oriented mindset with strong analytical and problem\-solving skills. Ability to work cross\-functionally and internationally in a fast\-paced environment. Proficiency in MS Office; experience with CRM or ERP systems is beneficial. Fluency in English and Portuguese; German or Spanish is a plus.
